Pink Growths on Glass

I have this pink crystalline looking stuff growing (forming?) on my glass like mad. It seems to be all over. Any idea what this is? I heard Calcium deposits before, but it is very odd how it is forming almost like it’s a living thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It’s is a living thing. Start scraping.

Coraline algae is usally considered a sign of great water quality, so it's a good thing.

Coraline Algae. It is the sign of a heathy stable reef. Scrape regularly or it gets harder to remove.

Oh well that’s good to hear then!

I have one of the flipper scrapers and it takes it off fairly easily, but it sure is growing like weeds on the glass.
