Hey guys, last night when I was ffeeding my tank, everything was great as always, however today my pink lemonade is as white as can be. Yesterday it looked great with good polyp extension and today dead. Any ideas?

YOu owe me a new keyboard.... that was hilarious.
but true.. they can be very elusive and mysterious. I have lost coral to what appeared as no reason at all. Water, light, everything was perfect and poof.. lately it has been heads on two different Frogspawns. they were looking wonderful then just brown jellied up and gone.
FWIW, I have had a piece of pink lemonade in my tank for at least a year. It is a TINY frag less than 1" tall. it has encrusted about a 2" circle and that is it. ZERO growth.
here is is a year ago. still the same size just encrusted. Corals around it have Quadrupled or more. this one, not so much. No clue..:frusty:

Seriously Daniel, if all your params are good, and have been stable, then there is no definitive answer. I could say that temp swings might have done it too. This heat has been ridiculous. But sometimes they just get mad and "poof", gone overnight.

That's honestly what I was thinking Chris. It was doing great, I had Greg over here a couple of weeks ago and he wanted to know how I got such good growth and color. Well now there is no color and I highly doubt dead corals grow. LOL. I probably will hit you up for a replacement piece later on. Thanks for the quick responses.

By the way, it seemed like the last meeting had a real nice turnout. Did you guys cut up that acan like was mentioned? I was too exhausted after the 1400 miles of driving that weekend.lol

Sorry to hear that about your PL. It was looking great. Mine has got its colors back brighter than ever and has began to encrust slowky. If mine ever decide to grow. Ill hook you up with a piece.
The meeting was packed and yes we did cut up a acan and i won 4 head piece! First acan ever and it looks great.
The heat may have got it, my AC has been running non stop and its been aroumd 77 and i keep it set at 72.over the weekend i havent had a full light period before my apexjr turns off the light when the water temp hits 82.
