Pink lemonade has been encrusting forever!!

I've had this dude for around 7 months and he hasn't grown upwards. His only growth has been encrusting the rock he's been on. Man.

Increase water flow to it, my RR wolverine was the same until i put more direct flow on it

I have one frag, a pretty sweet Tort, and it seems to be the only one showing growth that isn't just encrusting. Even my montis are encrusting more than they are plating ;Shifty

Lol, the one Pink Lemonade actually started as a tiny nib from where I first placed the frag. It got knocked off and I glued it in another position but a small piece remained. Couldn't have been more that 2-3 Polyps total grew into this! I am quite pleased with myself lol.

I had my pink lemonade do pretty much the same thing. Encrusted for about 6 months straight then just shot up. Give it time. If its colored up nicely and is encrusting then its healthy so its just a matter of time.

Weird, mine never really encrusted much and started shooting up and out. That might be because it was shaded by a large stylophora colony and it needed to reach the light.

The pink lemonade is notorious for encrusting like that, but once its all done it starts shooting out stalks all over the place and really fills in nicely. Just you wait!

Yes, I started it on June 2nd. So about 2 weeks now. The only thing I'm not using is the Major Elements, for that I'm still using BRS supplements. No sense to waste it.
