I thought I would post a couple of pics for some doubters of zeovit that say it is snakeoil (Bryan) lol.

The first one is from June 27 08.

Looks great man!

SNAKE OIL!!!!! Incase you missed it the first time! LOL Im sure the radiums and reflectors had no affect! LOL!

Can anyone say SNAKE OIL! Sorry just want to make sure know one missunderstands me! LOL!
Seriosly though your stuff looks good man

stuff looks great....but how do i KNow your water quality didn't drastically improve because you were paying more attention to it since zeo requires you pay more attention......:D

I like this guy! Good point though. I could tell you that my kitchen counter is alot cleaner since I bought some new clorox cleaner, but maybe its just cause im cleaning it more often now! LOL

Also most coral tend to color up as they grow out. It could very well just be that as well. Do you have any before and after shots of pieces that were already colonies when you started zeo?

I think anyone that knows me knows i'm pretty anal about water quality and parameters.

Hell i'm running a orca 250 on a 92 gallon tank... My parameters have always been there I'm a fan of zeo.

I won't get into the snake oil arguement all i can say is we both know we have the same corals in our tanks and i'll gladly compare any time :).

Brandon

Just for the sake of argument, you changed reflectors and bulbs at the same time as well right?

As for the SNAKE OIL comment, The first time you came home with zeo, you looked at me and told me that I would call it snake oil. I have never myself called it snake oil from any research I have done, I have only followed your comment with sarcasm because you assumed I would appose ZEO. I still know relatively nothing about zeo and am not rushing to learn about it. I dont have a SPS only tank and currently see that as being the only reason to invest the money into ZEO. I can see that you and tommy both have had success with zeo and it obviously has made improvements in your corals. Im sure the way technology is going its benefits will be made much easier to understand and dose in the near future. I am sure that I could someday go to using it as well if the use and benefit is made easier to understand. I dont have the time or the patience to daily dose and test all kinds of bottles in my tank. there is enough daily maintanence as it is.
Please keep us up to date with the progress of your corals using ZEO

I'm afraid that if I started to use ZEO, and spent even more time than I already do with my tank, it might send my wife over the top into the "I've had enough of this hobby?" realm!

I know that there are some who love to tinker, and they are in this hoby for the technical side of it. I started in this years ago because I loved to sit and look at everything, I could sit for hours and admire it. It seems the more you try and improve with new technology the more time it takes to maintain the tank, and the less time you have to enjoy it. I am all for improving my system and do on a regular basis, but I try and simplify my tank as much as possible so I can spend more time enjoying it. that is why I say if ZEO gets easier to deal with and less complicated I can see myself using it. None of this to take away from those who love to tinker and use ZEO, If you enjoy that kinda thing more power to you and I hope you find solutions to make it better for all of us.

Just water quality and parameters? And yes, your tank and corals are always beautiful. I DO have to admit that (much as it pains me....).
