Pink patches and brown eggs!

Hey there!!
My tank is around 6-7 months old.
1. I see these pink patches growing up in on the glass and on the walls of the skimmer intake recently. (Around 2-3 weeks now)
2. Also there are these brown bubbles / egg looking thing on the base of my coral plug.

What are these things ?
Note that I missed the water change for a couple of weeks and the nitrate and phosphate levels spiked up pretty high (they are now down after the water change though ) The pink patches are very hard to scrub off btw.

The corraline is good, you can scrape it off the glass pretty easy.

The Valonia is also called bubble algae. Try to remove it without bursting the bubbles, if possible. It has the potential to spread aggressively.

Coralline is indicative of a healthy system and means you are doing a good job maintaining parameters, valonia however is the opposite of coralline, it grows rampant, but it’s numbers are easily controlled by the introduction of certain predators such as an emerald crab

Agree on emeral crab as control. Manual removal and have a cup of tank water to rinse the coral off before placing back in tank.
