Pink People Eaters!!!

is there such a zoa? Just curious. I have some pink zoanthus gigantus with the neon green mouth, and the striking white striations on the polyp sheath, identical to the markings on PPE's. I'll post some open and closed pics later this evening.

My LFS received a shipment of what looks to be the same PEs. Many were sloughing off so I just bought a few polyps that looked healthy enough to make it. I hope they keep that pink tone.

I had some of what seemed to be Pink People Eaters and they grew at a ZERO rate and ended up fading after 2 whole years... it was so bizarre.

yeah, pink ones are real. me and twon8 had them. although i can't remember who he got them from. we actually had pink PE's and tangarine orange PE's.....i think they were called "gold PE's".

all of them were very small, lasted about a year and then wasted away. i actually sold my frag of pink PE's to someone about half year ago b/c i couldn't get them to do anything and was afraid they would just whither away and die in my tank like the others. can't remember who i sold them to though.

I was the one who traded Twon the Pink PE and the Gold PE but I also lost my colonies. They wasted away. Yeah they were really small polyps. This was back when Club-Zoa just started. A couple people locally that I traded a few polyps to also lost them.
