WOW is that a true pink setosa. Is the MC pink too? I had passed along alot of frags of the original bright orange setosa and they look kinda pink in some folks tank but not that pink.

I've noticed mine turns pink when I put it in very high light. I had it about 3 inches below the surface on a frag rack and it turned that color. Looks pretty cool though!

i had a pink one, it turned out it was in way too much light.

yeah mine turns that color when it is in too much much light also. had to move it down.

Mines is about 6'' from the water surface under 400w radiums about 16'' above the water surface.

Mine turned that color when my tank was ULNS, and it was in a ton of light.

How fast does yours grow? I got a frag about 6 months ago and it has grown very slow.

Reviving this thread... I have one that’s really orange/red but I want it to be pink. Is pink a sign of it going downhill? I’m confused as people comment on it being pink under too much lighting as if it’s a bad thing......?

It’s under high-ish light and high flow
