I have a feather duster that's been in my quarantine tank since I got him (from ReefCleaners) a month ago. There's this pink slimy growth on the mid-section of the worm casing that has about doubled in size since a month ago. Any clues what this is?! Good or bad?

Looks like a sponge. These are harmless filter-feeders and part of a healthy tank ecosystem. Air exposure can kill these creatures.

Thanks, I was wondering if it could be a sponge. What caused me a little concern is that I couldn't find any other thread on R2R mentioning a pink sponge like this. Has anybody else had something similar?

I have a similar sponge in my macroalgae tank, one with transparent tubes (oscula) on an opaque "base." However, this one is tan in coloration. I also have a pink sponge with a different texture. Neither have caused issues, though the tan one has gotten very large.

Yeah looks like sponge, and in first picture should see these transparent tubes almost pulsate for lack off a better word letting water get in and around it
