Pink splotches appearing on my mushroom

I noticed two very faint splotches on my mushroom 2 days after brining him home (first addition to the tank that wasnt a fish!), and they are definitely groing brighter and there are more appearing. Did i bring a disease into my tank?

Can’t tell from picture so much. Could you have flatworms? It sort of looks like that but hard to tell .

Looks like red flatworms. Siphon them out or look into flatworm exit if it’s bad

Thanks for the replies! Sorry for the picture quality, im always amazing how hard it is to take a photo through glass!!

Heres 2 more attempts, researching flat worms i could possibly get behind that. These seem more like a growth than a living creature, but hey, what do i know!!

As for the exit- there dont appear to be massive side effects, so i ordered some anyway and will treat my tank

Quick advice needed!!!!

My tank is bubble algea free. However when i pulled this mushroom out to remove the flatworks i found bubble algea on the underside!! As i tried to remove the piece it popped!!! I heavily rinsed the shroom and have him in Tupperware with tank water... im scared to put him in the tank and have bubble aglea take over!

Is it safe to put him in? Or should i sacrifice him for the greater good of the tank?
