I have a Male pink square anthias that I have put thought 30 days of copper and 2 rounds of prazi. The anthias has never been much of an eater. He has gotten skinny still pretty active. I normally would want a fish eating well before I add them to the dt but it was qt with a very small purple tang (quarter sized body) and a crescent tail Fairy Wrasse. Both the other fish are eating great.

Would you put the anthias in the dt that is full of pods and hope it will faten up and start eating normally? Or would you just keep it in qt? Also is there anything that would worry you about putting the other two fish in the dt?

Thanks.

If all of the fish are active and done with QT, I'd put them into the DT. There is nothing like the room to roam that is good for fish as long as they are ready. Especially if the DT is well stocked with pods for the anthia.
I'd keep the anthia in the QT if it was lethargic and a reluctant eater, and give it time to fatten up.

So the anthias is a reluctant eater and has gotten skinny but isnt sluggish. The other two fish are active and eating well. So just dont know what to do.

Trust your gut.
If you think the anthia needs some time in the QT to fatten up, then do it. Put the other two into the DT.
Best of luck with your beautiful fish.

It's 50/50. I would be inclined to move to DT if I were in your shoes. Sometimes fish will snap right out if it in a more natural surrounding. If he's too weak he could be bullied if you have certain tankmates...

I dont have any fish that would bully him in the tank. He is about 4.5 inches and would be the biggest fish in the tank. Mostly all fairy wrasse. I think I'm going to add all three fish tonight.

If that's the case I would move to DT as planned. It's probably your best shot.
