Pink square anthias

So I really want a single male pink square in my tank. They are always out of stock. If I got a single female would it turn into a male?

Might, might not. Square is a large pseudoanthias and prone to idiosyncratic behavior. Make sure it has enough space; particularly if your usernme correlates to tank size.

Ultimately, it probably will. They’re one of those fish that want to convert, given the opportunity, if I remember correctly.
