Hi guys so I just got a pink square anthias in my tank. Looks very healthy and my other fish don’t seems to bother it. It’s been 2 days he’s still a little shy but has been swimming around the tank more often. I’ve been feeding him mysis and he’s been going for it very well but I sometimes see him spit it out. Is this okay? What do you guys feed?

I’ve had 2 clownfish in my tank for a year now. They still spit out food. All fish do that. I feed a homemade frozen food that has things to feed all members of the tank (fish, corals and inverts) as well as pellet food. A variety of food is best for your underwater friends. I was feeding frozen brine shrimp and mysis along with pellet food before I found a local club member who makes his own food. It’s awesome.
