Yes, before anyone points out the obvious, I realize the global pandemic has turned the supply chain upside down. But since I've jumped back in the hobby right in the middle of this I'm trying to gain some perspective. I've been keeping my eye out for a pink streaked for my Biocube 32 as a final fish, but it appears for this particular fish there has been almost no availability. I've seen exactly 2 show up in the last 3 months on LA Divers Den , and nothing from LFS, wholesalers, or other notable online outlets. So it got me wondering if this particular fish was limited in availability to begin with prior, was it a "seasonal", or experiencing reduced demand or interest? As variety and availability of other less common fish have increased I'm just wondering if I'm going to be chasing a ghost?

You could probably go to your lfs and order one. My lfs special orders stuff all the time.

I am curious as well about the availability of pink streaked wrasses.

My LFS, which is pretty good one, typically fills special orders within a couple of weeks. It has been over a month since I placed my last order and still no luck.

I have been looking for one to, no luck

They seem to come in spurts. I've had one in the past, and was able to acquire it best after I had set up an alert. I think it took approximately 6 weeks from the time I had set the alert.

On a scale of how often they appear, I would say it's right up there with like...pedersoni shrimp. That might not be of much help, but hopefully it's a little bit of insight!

Just my experience, but I have had 2 of these over the years as well as a few possum wrasses. I picked up the last 2 in the springtime. Most recent addition was in June 19. Is it possibly a seasonal item?

Same here looking for one for a while now.
