So I'm getting my first wrasse and my 3rd saltwater fish(a pink streaked wrasse) in a week from my lfs. I have done quite a bit of research on them but I would like some tips from personal experience. It would really help a lot, thanks!

Super timid. Mine took many weeks before it stopped hiding when I walked in the room. When I added a white tail kole, it hid in crevass by my overflow box for 3 weeks before finally realizing the tang doesn't care about it. I love that little fish though.

I have a total of 7 pink streak wrasse, not as timid .. super curious, peaceful, they love to swim together and also gets along well with my 4 pygmy possum wrasse

Got a pink streaked wrasse as well.

Mine took only a day or two to come out, and is my favorite fish. He always darts up to the glass when I am close. I've read that they are pretty timid, but I see him the most out of all the fish I have.

He eats like a pig, frozen mysis/brine/scallops/plankton + pellets and flakes. No problems with the little guy whatsoever.

Thank you, I have heard that some come out pretty early and some hide for a while.

I'm going to mainly feed frozen mysis/brine, but could I also feed flakes and pellets?

I feed all of those alternating. He readily eats whatever I throw at him.

Hard to find fish these days for whatever reason.
