Pink stylepora not opening

I have had this coral for one month and it has opened any suggestions. Nitrates 8 phosphate .08, calcium 450, mag 1500, alk 10.1 replaced just now.

I can take one when I get home, I got it in a wwc frag pack it said pink stylo on it and I'm not familiar with this type of coral

It looks like an encrusting coral. Hard to tell with those pics

The package says a JC pink polyp stylo. I believe its encrusting but online is shows polyps. I will take another picutre.

That most likely is a Jose Casas Pink Polyp Stylocoeniella

Looks really nice when it grows out, does just fine in moderate light. Here is a photo of mine.

I had him on the rocks but lowered it down to the sand bed temporarily. I just dont want it to starve

What kind of lights are you running? Also how big is your tank and how much flow do you have? That would be a good place to start

It will be fine, mine is on the bottom. You can see it and my other stylocoeniella tucked in the cove behind the encrusting montis on the bottom toward the right side. For the main photo period, PAR is 220 there for 4 hours when the T5 + Radions are lit, and 170 for 4 more hours with just the Radions.

I have hydra 26s, in a redsea max e 260, flow verys from high to low, but no powerheads just the stock ones, they work great for everything else.

Salinity 1.025 nitrate 8 phosphate. 08 calcium 450 all 10.1 dosed two days ago to raise and may 1500

Nope, this coral just never opened since arrival it's a year old tank light on 8 hours a day

I haven't dipped it yet, maybe that would help ? I just qt it with no dipping when I got it

UPDATE: So my poor coral kept receding and didnt make it. Im not sure what did happen as all other corals are thriving i changed his location a few times trying to adjust him but he just wasnt happy in my tank. Ill get it next time
