Sorry, it's been so long since I used it, I cannot remember how often I calibrated it. Other meters ran for months without needing recalibration.
But that said, with any pH meter, you only need to calibrate as often as is needed to keep it calibrated. It may be a week or a year, but if the calibration changes significantly, then however long you waited was too long, and if there was little or no change, you could have gone longer.
The only caveat I'd add is that if you detect a changed tank value that you are concerned about, I'd recalibrate right way.
