3 days ago I noticed my Pintail Wrasse had gotten hit by a bristleworm eye. The bristles fell out and the eye is looking better but the fish is still acting off. It is still eating but it just hides in the corner. No one is bullying the fish. Prior to this happening it was always out in the open and swimming. Can there be something more going on here?

Any bruising, redness or heavy breathing ?
Did any bristles get into or near the gills ?
Any pics or video you can provide under white lighting?

No, the fish is breathing and acting normal. Just hides in the corner now.

Is it coming out to feed?

Bristle worm punctures can take some time to get over.....

Yes, it is still eating and comes out of hiding to eat. Once it's done eating it goes directly back to hiding.

Well, eating is a really good sign, I would just give it some more time. When I get bristle worm spicules in my hand, they itch for upwards of a week or more, I don't know about fish though.

Normally, the pintail is a very skittish wrasse. It can hide or sulk in a top corner longer than most other cirrhilabrus wrasses ime.
