Pipe Drain Blockage!

I just plunge mine with a piece of polyethylene drinking water tube. Stiff enough to unclog it but bends.

I also float heavy fishing line through and pull a piece of coarse filter material through several times.
I get sponges in my returns.

You have just given me all the reason I need to place a wifi camera over my overflow box. I have strainers on my pipes but if they get covered in Coralline, etc... better to have an ounce of prevention.

4 year old thread, but does have some good drain hacks, and shows why you install unions in pipes!

Old, but this is what I'm going to try next - a metal augur wouldn't work...but I'm gonna try coming from underneath .

Don't be scared to cut the plumbing with a Sawzall and just add a union section.
