Pipe Organ closed for days, growing algae on stalks

My pipe organ has been doing well for a few months with good growth and polyp extension until recently when several polyps closed and remained that way, on about half of the frag. They're now growing what looks to be algae or cyano on the polyps which seems to be keeping them closed. There is no cyano growing elsewhere, and no major algae growth elsewhere in the tank.

Can I do a peroxide dip on these? I've had success with zoas that route previously.
