I recently purchased a pipe organ. It seems to be doing fairly well and is growing. However i have a question regarding its polyps. Sometimes they will all fully extend. And other times they extend but the arms of the polyps stick together. This can be seen on a few polyps at the top of the pic. Does anyone know why? Did it catch something and it’s eating?

Their polyp stems respond to water flow and also acts as feeders and they will touch each other on occasion but play no factor in unusual behaviors.
Moderate lighting and water flow are desirable as is an occasional feeding of Mysis, reef roids and oyster eggs.

Thank you. What does the polyp fingers sticking together mean though? Did they catch something they like to eat? Since taking this picture they are all open now and one that was previously opened has its “fingers” stuck together.

theyre sticky. That will happen
