Hi
I'm new to coral and bought a pipe organ coral on 5 days ago and it still hasn't opened. It has so green algae growing on parts of it which i think my foxface has been eating but now my blue spotted puffer seems to be picking at it too. Could this be why it won't open? is there anything i can do about it?

Yes, fish picking at it will definately cause it to not open. It has also only been in there for a few days so it might just still be acclimating. Both of my pipe organ corals opened up the same day I put them in though so I am leaning towards the fish (assuming your water parameters are fine).

If I move the coral to another tank will it regenerate itself? A lot of the ends have been bitten off by the puffer and it's creating a mess so am thinking of just throwing it out
