it looks like the polyps have been covered and won't grow need help. My girl got it or me and now she's mad it won't blossom

How did you acclimate it to your tank?
What type of lights is it under now? What lights was it under when it was bought?
What are your water parameters?
Looks like a small frag, and may need alittle bit of time to reopen. Don't fool with it to much, that just makes em more mad.

Drip into a bucket , I have t5 it was under LEDs. Looks like some polyps are covered up.
And all parameters are ok. Just a little bit of po4

high random flow and lots of light... algae has a tendancy to grab hold and can smother the polyps

This covered up polyps close up tight, may look like they cant come out, but they can. Might move em up a bit in the tank, get em some more light, then give em a bit of time to adjust.

pipe organs are one of those corals that are common, cheap, and everyone assumes easy.

but they're NOT an easy coral!

i was actually teetering on adding a rather unique-colored one to a recent order, but after doing some googling decided not to.

a common problem is detritus building between the polyp stems causing algae that smothers out the coral. so high flow, and regular blasting with a turkey baster is probably in order.
