Pipe organ

So my pipe organ broke at the base on the way home from my local fish store. Will the pieces left on the frag plug grow into a new coral or will just the head survive?

I believe the base is usually dead old skeleton. Mine grows outward like a torch leaving behind its old red skeleton. I would reglue the head to a plug.

I just stuck the head in a whole in a rock. I think I may leave it like that for now to see what it does.
