pipefish aquascape

Is there a certain scape sytle that works better for pipefish? I was thinking either a single island "patch reef" or doing a two island scape for them. Haven't ordered the rock or sand yet, but throwing out the ideas/getting all stocked up for them. My goal is a group of gulf piepfish with some barnacle blennies, lots of macro algae and gorgs. Any help or pointers? (pipefish are eating frozen)

In that scenario my vote would be for a two island scape, ideally with a good amount of open space in between the islands filled with macroalgae in which the pipefish can feed. Barnacle blennies are so fast that if you have to feed the pipefish near the rockwork (in which the blennies will be hiding) they'll likely snatch up any food long before the pipefish can get to it.
