These are two multi banded and one dragon face pipefish eating new born brine shrimp that they get a few times a day.

Here are stills of them
Hey Paul, is that some kind of mesh over a power head in the first pic? I am researching adding pipe fish to my reef when I upgrade and I have found that the biggest problem is providing flow for the corals and not killing the pipes. So how do you compensate for their poor swimming ability and still get your acros the flow they want?
The pipefish know how to elude the current. I collect pipefish here in New York in very fast flowing water, they just hide behind rocks. I put on that mesh because I lost my bluestripes and one multi banded pipefish because those Korilia powerheads have pipefish size slots on the sides and the pipefish get stuck so I meshed them
That seems like an easy enough fix. So what your saying is as long as I am not creating a whirlpool I should be fine with the pipefish (as far as current goes). I have used many of your tricks and currently have a breeding pair of mandarins and two very fat leopard wrasse right now. So I am thinking that feeding would be more of the same. Probably put two baby brine feeders in the new tank as the current one gets awfully crowded. I also have an adult brine feeder I use as a distraction for my larger fish.
