Okay so I know it's not recommended but I bought a banded pipefish for my 125g reef tank. The flow isn't to strong. It's only really high where i keep my acro and zoas. I wad wondering if there concern for him getting chopped up my my jabeo gyre and if I should cover it up. I also have 2 wave makers but they have tiny slits on them already so I'm not concerned about those. Also I do have pods for him to eat and live brine.

You’re not gonna keep him in the bag until someone answers, right? Lol

He should be fine.

We have a dragonface who knows not to go into the power heads or gyres.
Pipefish can handle more flow than we like to think.
