I understand that people have used PVC pipes for years with great success. While the advantage may be only theoretical, does anyone have thoughts as to why CPVC or UPVC might be better or worse for use in aquariums (I'm considering for pipes). I have read about leaching among other things BPA (upvc has none I think).
But I have read about both CPVC and UPVC are stronger and more chemically resistant.
So for you experts out there, which piping is the least likely to breakdown/leach? Please consider all piping types not just pvc, regardless of cost, what would you choose if you have that overkill gear mindset?
