What thickness acrylic can it do?

I read that it is best up to 3/8 inch; however, I've been using it on a 180 gallon tank with 1/2 inch glass and it has worked fine.

ah ok, thanks. my acrylic is 3/4" so it probably wouldn't be strong enough
