I have a 55G (32"High) tank -- with 20L sump/refugium

So I added a High Fin Goby and Tiger Pistol Shrimp on Sun 7am. pH, Temp, Salinity all identical - added at same time

I found the pistol shrimp today (he moved over night) but have not seen the goby at all--
Question.... How long will it take for them to find each other. I put in some Mysis shrimp today to try and make sure he had the chance to eat-- didn't see him come out for any though. they were friends at the LFS

ps. other inhabitants --small Mocha Clown, Royal Gramma, Molly, 2 snails, & small emerald crab

give them time they should find each other. i've had mine split for a day or 2 and pair right back up. some times gobies and shrimp will just move around to new homes not always at the same time but they will usually get back together.

They will find each other without a problem, you might not see a lot of action during the day but the Shrimp is pretty active at night. Mine took about a week to find each other, or until I saw them together. Don’t expect to see them that often in the beginning, but once they are accustomed to your tank you’ll see they all the time.

It took mine almost two weeks... and I only have a 30 gallon so it's not that difficult to find each other. But now they are always together.

Those have to be the most interesting pairs in all of reefing. It's a must have for my next tank
