I'm thinking about getting a Randall's goby and Randall's pistol shrimp. However... When I set this tank up, I didn't think to place the rockwork on the glass and instead placed it on top of the sand bed. It's a very stable structure, but I'm still worried that a pistol shrimp might cause the rocks to collapse.

Any thoughts? Would a small shrimp like the Randall's do enough digging to cause everything to collapse? Perhaps anything I can do to secure the rockwork without removing it and rebuilding it on the glass?

My goby is a diamond and he digs caves not tiny holes. Can’t speak on watchman. If your rock structure is stable you may want to see if you can dig some subsrate from around them and see if you can get them settled closer to the glass. I’ve added some more live rock over time and have been able to move sand around to get it directly to the floor of the tank.
