My pair closed the entrance on their burrow. Just wondering if this is normal or if I need to lift the rock and let them out?

They are getting used to their surroundings. They will do some weird stuff for a couple weeks. Including, switching areas, creating little holes and big holes. The goby might lose his shrimp, don't worry, they eventually find each other. Keep in mind, we as people are giants compared to them, so if they do lose each other, the goby will stress out big time. Might even try jumping out depending on what he feels is threatening him. So any sign of stress try to give them space. Eventually, you will see both perching outside their hole.A few days

If you were planning on getting a rock flower anemone, you need to wait until the Goby is used to the tank. Otherwise he will get lost and become a treat for the anemone.
