Pistol shrimp and watchman gobie problems

My yellow watchman and tiger pistol shrimp have their burrows right next to my huge chalace and they keep on pushing sand all over it. It's really annoying come and turkey baste all of the sand off of it every day. How can I stop them?

I don't know of any way to stop them. It is in their nature to do that. I would move the chalice.

I cannot be 100%, but you could try filling in the current burrow and they may move.

Agreed, it would be much easier to just move the chalice before it gets damaged. IMO.....

The chalice is about 8 inches across and I can't get it off the rock without breaking it in half. :sad:
