So I've added both a watchman and a candy pistol the pistol has well established a digging area where he is making tunnels everywhere while my watchman is covering a diffrent area there kind of clothes but he doesnt there the spot he is in. Is there anyway for me to provoke him into the holes of the pistol.

He first picture shows how close they are. Next to the main/ biggest original hole and the second picture just shows the area that the pistol has covered and around both those 2 rocks are holes on the back side as well

I'd let nature take its course............it probably is just a matter of time before their instincts to be together take over.

I agree but at the same time the pistol has created so many holes that it's hard to be able to guess which one it'll be in and who knows if the goby will ever leave his new found cave that he has become so fond of

He will leave his cave. I remember looking in my tank at night with a flashlight and I would see my goby on the other side of a 6 foot tank. When they lights would come on the next day it would back in the same cave like he never left. They will find each other, I would be shocked if they didn't.
