pistol shrimp gone? hiding ? should i get another combo?

hey guys i finally setup my 32g biocube and moved my goby and pistol shrimp into it ive seen the pistol shrimp for about a week digging runnels between all 3 main rock foundations after a week he disappeared no clicking not coming out for food no new sand holes i dont think the goby sits in the rocks and tunels between them. i lifted all the rocks up couldnt find the shrimp the goby still has tunnels dont know if he made them or the rocks fit in perfectly. not sure.. debating if i should get another combo or another shrimp kind of want to pair my watchman with another one and have teh shrimp dig for them.. shrimp mising for 1-2 weeks now no clicks not coming out for food nothing no signs any advice

That is unusual if you at least do not hear him. At this point, it is safe to assume that he has passed and you are likely good to go get another. There is generally, no harm in having two shrimp if he does show up.

yah think hes a goner been listening for the clicks for days now would of heard atleast one by now
