I recently found a pistol shrimp in my rock work. It looks like the one below. I have a diamond watchman goby I'm going to put into the dt in a week or so. Will the goby pair up with this type of pistol shrimp?

It might! I had one that never did. But when I put 2 wheelers gobies in it paired up with one of them immediately. Its so cool to see. Bad pic, lights were going down for the night.

So another question? Should I try to rehome the pistol shrimp? I have heard they can stun and sometimes kill fish in the aquarium.

Usually the Watchmen goby's pair up with a Pistol shrimp and create the symbiotic relationship.
Yes correct. I thought that diamond gobys were watchman gobies bc when I bought the goby it was listed as a diamond watchman goby but I do see now that diamonds don't have symbiotic relationships with pistol shrimps. So I'm not actually sure diamonds are considered watchman gobies or not

Diamond gobies are sifters, not watchmen, though sometimes they are incorrectly sold as such.

While they won't pr up, its fine to have both in a tank together.
