Hey guys im trying to get my pistolshrimp out of my 10gallon tank and put it to my 30 gallon tank but i cant catch it hes hiding inside of a live rock i have put a waterbottle and put frozen food in it but i have no luck

If you do that, he will move out of the small rock and into the larger one. Then you can put the small rock back in the 10

I could in a way but do that but there alot of bristle worms and other pest that i dont want in the 30gallon tank

What about a bucket and raise it up off the bottom like put it on an inverted cup or something with sand in the bottom and smaller pieces of rock. They really like to dig so he'd come out and go down to the sand and rubble....

I like them so much, I would just buy another.

Yes im shutting it down i dont have a quarantine tank so im going to make the 10 gallon as a quarantine tank . So my plan was getting a Tupperware container and put the rock on top so the pistolshimp would fall the the sand bed and would go back the rock

Yea that's what I meant with the inverted cup. I didn't know you were shutting it down ... no bucket needed.

Tell us how?
So i went to see if it was in side the rock and i didnt see him so i looked around and it was hiding underneath seaweed clip that fell down on the sand bed so i left it up and it was hiding there i guess how i had the rock it didnt like that and moved [emoji322] it tooked me five days to get him out
