So for this question I was wondering if anyone had experienced any sort of aggression or them wanting to eat other crab (like Pom Pom crabs)?
For some context, I had seen mine eating the molt of a Pom Pom crab who was hiding in a hole that the pitho was in front of. Which this pitho crab was just sitting outside of the hole looking like it wanted to eat the Pom Pom, even when I tried to take away the molt it wouldn’t let go of it. I don’t really know why it was acting this way but after this it became a resident of my refuge. Though I don’t want to keep them down there, I don’t want to risk this pitho crab harming my other Pom Pom crabs (of which there are 4). So I want to know if it’s just me who has experienced this as I have never heard of such a thing happening with these guys, and want to know if I can possibly just put it back in the tank or if I should figure out someplace else to put the crab. As I don’t want the pitho to be a permanent inhibit of the refuge.
