Pitho crab releasing eggs?

Caught the pitho crab fully out of the sand tonight, which itself is a bit weird, then noticed she/he was up to something. Does anyone know if it's a she and if it's releasing eggs? Hard to see in the video, but there were occasional white balls floating out that looked like ROE. Sorry about the music background--the kids were messing with the Google speaker.
