PJ card w/ pop eye

I had a PJ cardinal come down with a case of pop eye. Is there any foods that may be beneficial to get it to eat that may aid in the healing process?

I fed my yellow tail damsel. (Not aggressive at the moment) garlic flakes instead of mysis and it went away shortly
