Placement and flow

I added another wave maker mp10 to for more flow and polyps seem to be closing noticeably more should I change placement ? It’s a redsea 250

You typically want to augment flow by about 10-20x your tank volume, ie: 550-1100Gph (total). A quick glance shows that each MP10 delivers 200-1575Gph. What speed are you running them at? Just looking at your tank I might be inclined to move them higher up (say 4-6" from the water surface).

I’m running reef crest high but I turned it to low now my other wave maker is around 2200gph but I lowered that one to

Just make small adjustments and observe for a few days between changes (corals are sometimes slow to respond). As long as the corals aren't whipping around like palm trees in a hurricane the flow is generally fine.

Okok thank you I’m going to lower them abit and slowly move up, every little thing is stressful in hobby lol
