Places to buy zoanthids

Not in Florida but Cherry Corals has very reasonable shipping rates and an awesome selection of very fairly priced zoas

I’m looking for online places preferably in Florida to purchase reasonably priced zoa’s
Your best bet is to find a hobbyist selling. There’s WWC and TSA and all the big places but your paying crazy High prices for cheap stuff. I sell a lot of high end and some mid grade zoas and ship all over the country. I’m one of the best and most known sellers on here.

Reasonably priced? Idk. But World Wide Corals is in Florida i think. I swear I just saw a thread or something that listed a bunch of retailers by state.

This. You likely have a local online reef club near you with people selling frags for dirt cheap (often giving them away).

I've had better luck with with coral health this way too. Not only am I eliminating the stress/risk of overnight shipping, but you're getting coral that was conditioned in a tank similar to yours. Not recently shipped from across the world, and not maintained in a giant distribution center.

Yeah they are in Orlando Florida but far from reasonable priced and the size of frag and quality is subpar even compared to other large farms

Like this guy. Lots of great people on here. Probably quite a few based around you.

BTW Camaro Guy I saw one of your sales. You are like an hour away from where I live now. When my LEDs come in I might have to hit you up for some I used to live on "the island" lol.

It depends on what you're looking for. If you want more run of the mill stuff then look to other hobbyists (local and in the r2r sales forum) for sure, no point in paying the premium for a frag from a larger outfit.

However, if you're looking for something specific or high end then paying the premium to a larger vendor for a well-conditioned piece might be the way to go. There's still lots of options if you want to go through a hobbyist.

That being said, if you do go through a hobbyist be sure to ask about the DOA policy, how they ship, what day's they'll ship etc. Larger vendors know what they're doing, same can't be said for all hobbyists.

Finally, you're in Florida, that's a hot bed for the coral market. If you look around I'm certain you'll locals with excellent stuff to offer.

Let me know man more then happy to help you out and hook you up!

Cheezy corals. Check out their Facebook page. Theyre in IN but do auctions (most zoa only go for like 10-20$, even the super nice ones) and they ship anything over 300$ free. They also hold your coral for you until you reach the gree shipping price if you want. It’s WYSIWYG, and they don’t short you (if you have them hold coral and it goes from 3 heads to 30 because you left it with them for a month) you get all 30 heads.
