Placing the chiller outside

Been reading that its best not to have the chiller in the dry cabinet due to hot air circulation.. only place I can place it is in the terrace outside (stone wall divider? What is needed to have the chiller outside? Just two holes? Pump? Anyone has photos of their setups?

If you live in a climate that gets hot in the summer, you will cut the efficiency of your unit drastically by placing it outside.

Well its either inside the cabinet with circulated hot air or placing it outside

I'd leave it where it is and vent the cabinet with a small fan. Placing outside again, will kill its efficiency and its lifespan.

Has anyone drilled holes on the side of the cabinet like circular cable holes like so? Might help maybe?

Yep the plastic would be to cover any scratches when driller and make it a nicer finish..

Kept my 1/3hp chiller in the crawl space under the house. Worked great and helped by discharging the heat off of the condenser under the house. No more heat added to house ac cooling load.
