i have a 90 gallon fully stocked mix reef....i plan on changing redoing the rockwork, cleaning, trimming and siphoning half of sand and change with new...plan on getting rid of most of softies and get rid unwanted corals...basically i plan on pulling out mostly everything and will try my best not to disturb and stir the tank a lot......does this sound like something doable?corals dont have any room to grow and the only way i can frag them is if i pull the big rocks out where corals are encrusted....

any advice, recommendation is appreciated....what are the consequences and what things should i worry about? i really wanna change the rockwork and if i can i wanna try to have less rocks...like a cleaner not crowded look

thank u

When i did that i ended up replacing sand and total water change. Tried to be carefull but it is hard not to disturb sandbed. The tank was so dark you could not see a thing. If your sand has been in the tank for awhile you might want to replace it.
