Ok who has had planaria on their tank? And what have you don't to fix it. I have lots of them they are all over my rocks and I'm kind of nervous on using flat worm exit cause I hear about fish and corals dying after use. I have wrasse and springer damsel but they seam to nip at them but not all the time. If you have use flat worm exit with success share your experience.

Siphon them out as much as possible for a few days or a week, then have plenty of new water made up to do a large water change after you use the flatworm exit. Also new GAC to make sure all the toxins from the worms gets removed.

I have a lot of them but ill try it and see what happens its just that everything on my tank is doing so good and I will hate to loose anything if I dose flatworm exit

Like I said, try to manually remove as many as possible first. The less you have to kill with the flatworm exit the better. Its the toxins from the worms when they are dying that can harm the tank, not the flatworm exit itself.

Man you are right I sucked out a lot of them and you won't believe how the tank looks now. I'm gonna to it again for three more days and then I will do flat worm exit.

I had a bad infestation awhile back....I did flatworm exit treatments&10gal. H20 changes(50gal. system) every 3 days for two weeks, each time sucking out as many as I could see. I had to do it about 4 times before I couldn't see anymore flatworms....did it a 5th time just to make sure I got 'em all. HTH,good luck

Also make sure to siphon out the dying or dead flatworms out after the dose of FW exit..that'll help with the toxin levels..

I had success w/ flatworm exit, but definitely follow instructions for maually removing them as much as possible to minimize toxins. water change & carbon also. fwiw- even after doing a 2nd dose 2 weeks later, I could never 100% eradicate them, only deplete their #s.
