Thinking of adding 2 XR15 blues instead of 1 more XR30, or should I go with a UV sterilizer instead and upgrade the lights later!? Decisions decisions!

Lights mounted where I want them and I through those ocean revives on until I make a decision if I want to add another XR30 or 2 XR 15 blues!

Hit that mean ugly stage as there is GHA everywhere! But tank is getting there. Also added some clowns and a orange back fairy wrasse. Don’t mind the dirty tank!! Also about to move all my bigger fish to this tank this weekend!!

Tank is moving along quite nicely right now no issues so far!! Plus I just moved all my bigger fish to there new homes and I believe they are loving that 8’ swimming space!!

I ended up with the final config for lighting on my tank and overall happy, went through too many light changes. 5 G5 XR30’s perpendicular with diffusers is awesome coverage on 8 feet.Coral have responded great. Your tank is looking amazing! I always come back to your build thread since we started around the same week.

I will eventually get 2 G5 Blues and then go perpendicular like yours. I really want to blast this tank with light! Also just picked up another MP40 and will install later today!

Thank you! I ran into complications with my tile floors being super unleveled with the tank being 8’ long. So definitely make sure the floor is level and strong!!

Thank you! So far so good can’t complain! Once a see a spec of coralline trident will be purchased and so will a bunch of coral!!

I’ve got 4 mp40 in my 6fter. I would think 4-6 would not be out of the question on an 8’ ft tank.

Yea right now I have 2 MP40s, 2 Neros, 2 Jebao 20s. So I can move a ton of water right now!!

Thanks man!! I did have to redo some plumbing but it was just the returns at 45s inside of 90s. Didn’t like the hard bend to push the water.
