I use a phytoplankton and zooplankton in my tank 1 or 2 times a week. My question is this:
Does it benefit the animals more when fed at night? Is it better during the day? Or does it even matter?

For your corals they are more active at night and so it is recommended to dose phytoplankton after lights go out

That's what I was thinking too, but all my softies, mushrooms, and zoas close up at night. I only have 2 hard corals still alive.
