planning plumbing for 200g tank

i was wondering how i should do the drains on my 200g tank im gonna be setting up soon i have a 55g tank for sump the tank itself has a overflow in the corners of the tank now when plumbing to the sump should i make the sump have to sides to drain into or plumb both drains into each other into 1 side of the sump drain size for the tank is 1 2" drain in each overflow thanks in advance

I prefer both piped to one side. Also may want a 75 gallon sump.skimmer will be big.

well i have the 55 already n theres no lfs near me so kinda sol on that part of it lol also say i was to run 1 to each side of sump how would u reccomend building the sump
