Hello,
I've been interested in possibly adding Mangroves or Sea Grass to my tank in the future when I decide to update. Does anyone have any tips on adding and caring for them or anywhere I can find that'll basically give me a "how to"?
Thank you!

I haven't used seagrass, but I have worked with mangroves. For those, just make sure you rinse/spray the leaves with freshwater as (from what I understand) they rid themselves of excess salt through their leaves.

Okay! Where is the best place to plant them in the tank? And do I need different sand? Or is the normal sand I use fine?

Okay. Would there need to be anything special that needs to be added to the tank or would it be okay in just a normal saltwater tank?

We dont have anything special added for them. Just remember that their roots can grow pretty long and will make their way through the rockwork

Okay. I'll wait until I have a bigger tank for them. I currently only have a 15 gal and I don't think there's room for them. Thank you! ☺️
