What’s the gist behind keeping maybe one or 3 plants in a tank? I like the look of the red dragons tongue, shaving brush single stem plants and red gracilaria...also I’m thinking about lighting and soft corals I can get
 
Plants (or what may be better called macroalgae) in saltwater tanks were often used primarily as nutrient export before people started realizing that this stuff could be really attractive and started creating beautiful aquascaped macroalgae tanks. As a side note, please know that your red macroalgaes often need higher light levels.

There are plants. Like mangroves. But nothing that i know of thats like fully submersable
