I’m making some Plaster of Paris for my Parrotfish. He doesn’t seem interested in the mix I tried. I did use peas in the mix but I’m wondering if I could use Spirulina powder or garlic in the mix? Anyone have a recipe for this?

Well here goes my first attempt at a recipe. Cooked peas (shells of peas discarded) mixed Plaster of Paris to the directions on box (one cup of plaster half cup of RODI water) added a splash of Spirulina powder (probably not enough I’ll add more next batch) mix well and pour into muffin tin. Let air dry for two days.

Lol I just realized that my first post doesn’t say this Plaster of Paris mix is for the parrotfish to eat and sharpen the beak.

How did this work out for you? My parrotfish uses the aquarium glass to file his teeth and it’s becoming very annoying.
